I had a last minute change of schedule that allowed me to fit in a race this weekend. I found the Boulder Dash 5k in Cumming, GA and signed up last night. The weather was great (low 70′s), but you can feel the summer humidity coming.
The race was a little bigger than expected at 1209 runners. Most of the small local races I’ve been running are in the sub 200 range, so it was nice to see so many folks out.
I’ve been doing more CrossFit than running lately, so no PR’s were set, but I felt pretty good overall. Hopefully the calendar is opening up and I can get in a few races a months heading into the summer.
